The Geneva-based magazine Global Geneva is running a writing competition for young writers (14 to 19 year olds).

A total of 2,450 francs of prize money will be awarded to the best entries – 1st 1,200 francs, 2nd 750 francs, 3rd 500 francs.
To enter, write a compelling article or short story (1,000 words) on one of the following themes:
- Culture
- Human Rights
- Sustainable Development Goals
- Humanitarian Response
- War & Peace
- Health
- World Trade
- Environment
- Climate Change
Email your entry to editor@global-geneva.com with the subject: YJWA2019 ENTRY, by 17 May 2019.
In addition, an interactive writing workshop will be held on 27 March 2019 at the Ecogia ICRC Training Centre in Geneva: Chemin d’Ecogia 14, 1290 Versoix.
