After spending CHF 15 million on the refit of one of its key stores, Manor Chavannes reopens on 20 November. The main renovations and changes include the modernisation of and upgrade of all the departments “to reflect latest concepts”; a significant enlargement of the shop’s already pretty impressive food hall (as well as the enlargement of its wine department); and the refurbishment of the Manora restaurant.
The Basel-based company says the store has been “entirely re-thought, transformed and modernised” and is now “more beautiful and more feminine”.
The shop has 10700 m2 of floor space, employs 300 staff and has 1370 parking spaces to cater for the 2 million plus customers who frequent the shop each year.
The store is open from 09h00 until 19h00 every day except Friday when it opens late until 21h00. In line with (another wise) Swiss law, the shop is closed on Sundays.
