For the kids this weekend, it’s the last opportunity to discover Yatouland in Geneva. In and around Yverdon they are having a Kids Day where most attractions in the region are free for kids (including the Château de Grandson, the Railway museum, the Vallorbe Caves and the thermal baths).
The Cully Jazz Festival kicks off today (10 – 18 April) with loads of amazing concerts to see. If you don’t feel like attending any particular concerts, you can have a wander round the “Off Festival”, where the concerts are open to the public and free of charge, and just soak up the ambiance.
In Morges, the Arvinis World Wine Fair is definitely worth a visit for wine lovers, running from 15 April to 20 April.
Visions du Réel, Switzerland’s one and only documentary film festival, with an international reputation and considered one of the worlds most important documentary film festivals, where you can see films such as “God save Justin Trudeau”, will be running from 17 April – 25 April in Nyon.
Simply Theatre will delight young and old alike with their musical theatre experience “Once on this Island”, the enchanting story of Ti Moune on her quest to prove that love is more powerful than the forces of prejudice, hatred and death. Be whisked away on a journey you’ll not forget (18 – 26 April).
