With a spring feeling in the air, you can head down to the lake and see the internationally renowned Tulip Festival in Morges which opens this weekend, or discover the Château d’Aigle over Easter with the kids where they have a new event with loads of activities for families.

Perhaps an exhibition will take your fancy or an exotic film at the International Oriental Film Festival.
Up in the mountains, the resorts have plenty on offer too, with music and fun such as the World Wide Festival in Leysin or holding your breath as you watch skiers and snowboarders come down what looks like a cliff face in the Verbier Xtreme skiing contest.
