It might feel like spring, however snow is forecast to fall as low as 500 metres in parts of Switzerland this Thursday, according to Swiss Meteo.

The metrological service forecasts snow as low as between 600 and 800 metres in French-speaking Switzerland and as low as low as 500 and 800 metres in German-speaking Switzerland.
Temperatures are predicted to fall as low as a maximum of 5 to 7 degrees in the French-speaking region and as low as 2 to 5 degrees in the German-speaking part.
The maximum forecast temperature in Geneva on Thursday is 7 degrees, in Zurich it’s 3.9 and in Basel 4.9 degrees. Bern (4) and Lausanne (5) will also be chilly.
These temperatures are difficult to believe when it’s around 20 degrees outside – maximums in Zurich (20), Geneva (20), Basel (21), Lausanne (18) and Bern (18) are all between 13 and 16 degrees higher today than they are predicted to be on Thursday.
By Saturday, temperatures are forecast to be significantly higher than on Thursday.
