It has been a stormy 24 hours in parts of Switzerland. The winds were so fierce at the ski resort of Verbier, lifts were temporarily halted, leaving some swinging in the wind.
The footage above was captured at Les Ruinettes (2,200m) looking down towards the town. The gondola on the right is empty but the one on the left has skiers in it.
