Three years after performing the original show in Zurich and launching his epic circumnavigation of the globe, international celebrity Eddie Izzard – comedian, actor, and marathon runner, is about to celebrate his unofficial comedy world record of performing in more than 28 countries.
From Moscow to the Hollywood Bowl, with sell out shows in London’s West End and 49 of the US states, Eddie heads back to Europe for a select and limited run of his show: FORCE MAJEURE: RELOADED.
The man who believes comedy is unbound by culture or language told Reuters: “There’s no ‘British’ sense of humor…..all humour is human. I predict that someone should be able to go to a native tribe, learn their language and then make them laugh.” The same article says he has entertained audiences in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic – he was born in the Colony of Aden, now part of Yemen.
