In just a few days winter will be officially over and that is why today we are showing you five of the best fashion trends for the 2015 spring season. Take a look!
1. Yellow
Nothing says bye bye winter like a serious pop of color and this spring yellow is the way to go. If you are not ready to rock the true yellows from this season’s Phillip Lim and Michael Kors collections then why not follow the lead of Burberry and Carolina Herrera and infuse your spring wardrobe with some beautiful mustard and amber shades or some muted pastels? Absolutely any shade of yellow will do this season, so the choice is yours.
2. All-white
If you are not a fan of color then maybe you will like this season’s all-white trend. DKNY and Victoria Beckham led by example by dressing their models from head to toe in white for the 2015 spring runway shows. Whether you are donning a flowy boho dress, sporting a trendy power suit or rocking a casual sporty look, clean all-white silhouettes are the way to go this spring.
3. Bare shoulders
This spring it is all about showing off those shoulders. Baring your shoulders and collar bone with a revealing neckline is the perfect way to show a little skin without flaunting too much flesh. Zac Posen, Balenciaga and Emilio Pucci are showing us how it is done with beautiful off-the-shoulder tops, trendy asymmetrical cuts and intricate halter designs.
4. Collars & high necklines
If you are not too crazy about the shoulder-baring trend you can follow the example of Prada, Louis Vuitton and Dior this spring and opt for collared tops and high necklines. Modern Vandykes are perfect for those who like the ever-popular preppy schoolgirl look while Victorian-style necklines are a great choice for girls who are more into romantic styles and fashion-forward silhouettes.
5. Gingham
Oscar De La Renta, Michael Kors and Diane Von Furstenburg all agree: gingham is the new plaid. The sixties-inspired checked print is appearing everywhere and the retro design is showing up in all color combinations imaginable this spring, from classic black and white to mixed pastels and retro tablecloth red and white. Whatever color combo you choose, one thing is for sure: gingham is well on its way to becoming this year’s tartan.
With these five top trends you are all set to ring in spring and enter the new season in style!
