On 3 March 2016, the rubber hits the stage at the Geneva car show. The show runs until 13 March. Tickets are CHF 16 per adult, reduced to CHF 8 after 4pm. The show is at Palexpo, next to Geneva airport.
There are too many cars to mention them all so here are videos of two of the stars.
The Lamborghini Centenario was made to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the birth of the company’s founder Ferruccio Lamborghini who died in 1993. Only 40 of these, 77 horse power, V12 powered cars will be made. Priced at 1.75 million euros, they have unfortunately all been sold.
The Bugatti Chiron is considered by some to be the star of the show. Powered by an 8 litre, 1,500 horse power, quad turbo engine, it has been restricted to top speed of 420km/h. It’s real top speed has not been disclosed. Only 500 of these cars will be made and around one third of them have already been sold. 2.4 million euros for one of these. Better be quick.
